Principal: Brooke Renton

Mrs. Renton has spent her entire education career with the district.  She taught second and third grades at Union Chapel Elementary from 1992-2009 and served as assistant principal in Park Hill from 2009-2017.  She was named a STARR (Select Teachers As Regional Resource) Teacher for Missouri in 2000, a finalist for the district's Teacher of the Year award in 2001 and she received the Clay-Platte Missouri Outstanding Assistant Principal award from the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals in 2010. 

Mrs. Renton received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Missouri Western State University, her master's degree in elementary school administration and leadership from Northwest Missouri State University, and her educational specialist degree in school administration from the University of Missouri- Kansas City. 

Mrs. Renton and her husband make their home in Weatherby Lake with their two sons, Luke and Nathan.  They enjoy going to movies, vacationing, and spending time boating, swimming and relaxing on the lake.  

 

Assistant Principal: Morgan Taylor

Mrs. Taylor taught fifth grade at Renner Elementary for three years and fourth grade in Fulton Public Schools before that.

She received her specialist degree in Administration from William Woods University, master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri, and bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from William Woods.

Mrs. Taylor and her husband recently had their first child, Lennon. They like to spend their time cooking or finding great restaurants, traveling to see family and friends, and hanging out with their two dogs.

Mrs. Taylor will serve as assistant principal at both Hawthorn and Graden.
